Frequently Asked Questions
Do you sell the Vaporesso GTX 2 Coils?
Yes, we also stock the Vaporesso GTX 2 Coils which are available via a separate listing.
Which coils are best for MTL vaping?
If you are looking for a mouth to lung vaping experience then we suggest using the 1.2ohm or the 1.2 Mesh Coils.
Which coils are best for DTL vaping?
If you are looking for a direct to lung vaping experience then we suggest using the lower resistance coils such as 0.20 mesh, 0.30 mesh or 0.60 mesh coil.
Are these the Triple Silicone Coils or the Original Ones?
We carry a mixture of both the Original Coils and the Triple Silicone Coils. To make it easier we have now described the version on the variant itself so that there is no room for error when choosing your Vaporesso GTX Coils. The Triple Silicone was a redesign of the original coils making them more leak proof. Carrying both variations gives you choice as to which coil you would prefer to use.

How do I prime the Vaporesso GTX Coils?
Priming coils is really important no matter what coil you use. It allows the coil to have a better life span and avoids dry hits! Sometimes, coils can be dead on arrival and not perform. As these are mass produced this error can happen although it is less frequent. Fortunately, we provide a 48hr dead on arrival policy for coils so if this is the case please do get in touch- do not throw away the coil as we will require the pictures to pass onto the manufacturer.
Below we have bulleted the best way to go about this to ensure you get the most out of the coil itself.
- Always prime your coils well when using for the first time
- Add 5 or so drops to the centre of the coil saturating the cotton
- Reassemble the tank making sure the coil is secured in place
- Add your chosen liquid to the tank
- Take 5 or so long drags on your device without power
- To be absolutely sure leave rested upright for a minute or so
Are there any reviews available on the Vaporesso GTX Coils that can give me more information before purchasing?
Absolutely! These coil variations can get confusing so the more information you have the better placed you are to make the right decision for you. If in doubt please do get in touch and we would be happy to assist you. Our friends over at Planet of the Vapes have done an amazing job in breaking down each coil and outlining what to expect from the Vaporesso GTX Coils!
Are the 0.20 mesh triple silicon coils meant to have their wicks covered with metal?
Yes, Vaporesso had designed the 0.20 mesh triple silicon coils with a design that covered the wicking ports partially with metal. There was a thinking process behind this for which we have asked!
