Vapcell has been producing lithium-ion batteries and chargers since 2013, and in that time they’ve built a solid reputation in the vaping community for consistent output, accurate capacity ratings and honest specifications. We stock Vapcell cells across the most common formats used in vape mods: 18650, 21700, 20700 and smaller formats for compact devices. Through our own testing, we’ve found vapers choose Vapcell for the balance between high continuous discharge ratings and competitive capacity, which makes them a practical choice for everything from regulated box mods to mechanical setups. Where cells share a relationship with upstream manufacturers like Molicel, Vapcell is open about it. Every Vapcell product we carry is sourced through authorised UK distributors, so you’re getting genuine cells with intact wraps and accurate ratings.

Vapcell built its name by focusing on what actually matters to vapers: accurate capacity ratings, stable voltage output under load and wraps that don’t degrade quickly in tight mod bays. The brand applies industrial-grade cell testing protocols to every production batch, which is why their discharge curves hold up consistently against published specs.
Vapcell’s combination of honest specifications and consistent quality is what keeps experienced vapers coming back over cheaper, less reliable alternatives.
Our Vapcell collection covers every product the brand produces, from high-drain cells in every standard format to multi-bay chargers. Browse the full range in one place and find exactly what your setup needs.
The 18650 is still the most widely used cell format in vaping, and Vapcell’s 18650 range covers the full spread of use cases. Cells range from around 2500mAh at higher discharge ratings, suitable for mechanical mods and high-wattage regulated devices, up to 3500mAh options for vapers who prioritise battery life over raw current. Continuous discharge ratings across the range typically sit between 10A and 25A, giving solid headroom for most regulated mod builds running between 40W and 100W. Check the specs on your mod before picking a cell. If you’re running dual 18650s, matched pairs matter.
The 21700 format offers more capacity and higher discharge capability than the 18650 in a physically larger cell, which makes it well suited to high-wattage single or dual-battery mods. Vapcell’s 21700 range includes cells like the P42A variant with 4200mAh capacity and a 30A continuous discharge rating, giving substantial headroom for sub-ohm builds pushing 80W to 150W. If your mod takes 21700s, this is generally the format we’d recommend for longer sessions between charges. Worth noting: some Vapcell 21700 cells are re-wrapped from Molicel P42A cells. Vapcell is open about this, and the specs hold up.
Not every device runs on 18650 or 21700 cells. Vapcell also produces a range of compact lithium-ion cells for smaller mods, single-cell devices and specific hardware that specifies a non-standard format. If you’re running a device that takes a 14500 or 18350, check the Vapcell range before settling for a generic alternative. Capacity is naturally lower in compact formats, but Vapcell’s quality control and accurate labelling still apply across the board.
A quality cell needs a quality charger. Vapcell’s charger range covers single-bay through to multi-bay options, with CC/CV (constant current, constant voltage) charging protocols that protect cell longevity. Running lithium-ion cells on a charger rated specifically for the format is non-negotiable from a safety standpoint. If you’re buying Vapcell batteries, pairing them with a compatible charger is the sensible move.
We’ve tested a lot of cells from a lot of brands. Vapcell stands out because their published specs match what you actually get in real-world use. Voltage sag is minimal at typical vaping wattages, capacity holds up through the charge cycle and the wraps stay intact in the mod bay. That consistency across the range is what earns a brand a permanent spot on our shelves.
Vapcell gives you reliably rated cells that do exactly what they say on the label.
The right Vapcell cell depends on your device format, how you vape and whether you prioritise capacity or discharge rate. Here’s how to match the cell to the setup.
Just moved onto a mod that takes an external battery and not sure where to start? Pick an 18650 or 21700 cell with a continuous discharge rating that sits well above your mod’s maximum output. Running a 60W regulated mod? A 20A-rated 18650 with 3000mAh+ capacity is a practical starting point. You won’t be pushing anywhere near the cell’s limits, which means longer battery life and safer use. Check our vape battery safety guide before your first charge.
Most vapers running regulated mods between 40W and 100W will be well served by a Vapcell 18650 in the 3000mAh to 3500mAh range, or a 21700 if the mod supports it. The 21700 format gives more capacity, which means fewer charges per day, and the higher discharge ceiling gives the mod’s chipset more room to manage power delivery efficiently. If your mod takes a 21700, it’s generally worth using one.
Vapers running mechanical mods or regulated devices at 100W+ need cells with the discharge ratings to match. For mechanicals especially, the cell’s continuous discharge rating is the most important number on the wrap, because there is no chipset managing the output. A Vapcell 21700 with a 30A continuous rating gives the headroom needed for low-resistance builds. If you run a dual-battery mechanical, use married pairs: cells charged and cycled together from new. Refer to our Ohm’s Law guide if you’re calculating safe build resistance.
If your device specifies a 14500, 18350 or 16340 cell, don’t improvise with a format that almost fits. Vapcell’s compact cell range covers these formats with the same accurate labelling and quality control as their flagship 18650 and 21700 lines. Capacity will be lower than a full-size cell, but using the correct format keeps the device operating within its design parameters.
Every Vapcell battery and charger we sell is sourced exclusively through authorised UK distributors. That means genuine cells, intact wraps, accurate capacity ratings and full traceability. The counterfeit battery market in vaping is a real problem, and we don’t touch grey-market stock. When you buy Vapcell from us, you’re getting exactly what the label says.
We keep our Vapcell pricing competitive and regularly offer multi-buy deals on batteries, because most vapers need more than one cell. Check our multi-buy offers for current bundles.
Orders placed before 1PM Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day. Free delivery is available on qualifying orders. We keep popular Vapcell formats in stock so you’re not waiting on a back-order when your cells need replacing.
Our team vapes every day. We run external battery mods, we’ve cycled cells through hundreds of charges and we know the difference between a cell that holds its rating and one that doesn’t. If you’re not sure which Vapcell format suits your device, or you want advice on charger compatibility, we’re straightforward to reach and happy to give a straight answer. No scripts, no guesswork.
