The Uwell Caliburn G5 Pro Pod Vape Kit is an advanced refillable vape kit featuring a large 2.79-inch HD touchscreen, a built-in 1800mAh battery and adjustable 5-35W power output. Designed for adult vapers who want greater control over their device, the Caliburn G5 Pro combines touchscreen operation, customisable settings and adjustable airflow in a compact, rechargeable pod system.
Compatible with Uwell Caliburn GPP Alpha Replacement Pods and the original GPP pod platform, the G5 Pro supports both mouth-to-lung (MTL) and restricted direct-to-lung (RDL) vaping. The kit includes two GPP Alpha mesh pods in 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω resistances, while higher-resistance cartridges are available separately for a tighter inhale.
One of the standout features of the Uwell Caliburn G5 Pro is its large 2.79-inch touchscreen, which provides easy access to device settings without complicated button combinations.
Double-tapping the U icon opens the control panel, allowing you to adjust the wattage, screen brightness and display theme. Four selectable interface themes provide different visual styles, while customisable messages and animated effects add a more personalised experience.
The touchscreen also gives you access to the puff counter, Eco Mode, Silent Mode and haptic feedback settings.
Compared with traditional pod kits that rely on smaller displays and physical buttons, the G5 Pro offers a more interactive way to manage your vaping preferences.
The Caliburn G5 Pro Vape Kit features a built-in 1800mAh battery and an adjustable output range of 5W to 35W, allowing you to tailor the power to your preferred vaping style and installed pod resistance.
The included 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω GPP Alpha pods are particularly suited to RDL vaping, while compatible 0.9Ω and 1.2Ω replacement pods support a tighter MTL inhale at lower wattages.
USB-C charging allows the device to be recharged in approximately 65 minutes under suitable charging conditions. Eco Mode can help manage power consumption, although actual battery life depends on wattage, pod resistance and frequency of use.
The Uwell Caliburn G5 Pro is compatible with the Caliburn GPP pod platform, giving you a choice of replacement cartridges in different resistances and filling styles.
At Legion of Vapers, we stock both top-fill and side-fill versions of the Uwell Caliburn GPP Alpha Pods, allowing you to choose your preferred filling method.
The device also supports the original Uwell Caliburn GPP Replacement Pods, providing additional options for MTL and RDL vaping.
Both pod platforms use integrated mesh coils, meaning there is no need to purchase or replace coils separately. Once the coil reaches the end of its usable life, simply replace the complete cartridge.
GPP Alpha pods feature Uwell’s upgraded AlphaCore coil technology, designed to improve flavour consistency, wicking performance and pod lifespan.
| Pod Resistance | Vaping Style | Recommended Use |
|---|---|---|
| 0.4Ω | RDL | Warmer vape with increased vapour production |
| 0.6Ω | RDL / Loose MTL | Balanced flavour and vapour production |
| 0.9Ω | MTL | Tighter inhale, suitable for nicotine salts |
| 1.2Ω | Tight MTL | Lower-power vaping with a restricted draw |
Please note: The kit includes 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω GPP Alpha pods. The 0.9Ω and 1.2Ω options are available separately. Always follow the recommended wattage range for your installed cartridge.
The Uwell Caliburn G5 Pro includes an adjustable airflow slider, allowing you to change how tight or open the inhale feels.
With a compatible higher-resistance pod and a restricted airflow setting, the device can deliver a tighter mouth-to-lung (MTL) draw, similar to the inhaling technique used when smoking.
Opening the airflow and using one of the included lower-resistance cartridges provides a looser restricted direct-to-lung (RDL) inhale with increased vapour production.
This flexibility allows users to switch between different vaping preferences without purchasing a separate device.
The most suitable e-liquid for the Caliburn G5 Pro depends on the resistance of the installed pod and your preferred nicotine strength.
For the included 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω GPP Alpha pods, suitable lower-strength 50/50 e-liquids are a practical choice for RDL vaping.
For customers who prefer a tighter MTL inhale, the separately available 0.9Ω and 1.2Ω cartridges pair particularly well with nicotine salt e-liquids or standard 50/50 freebase e-liquids.
Matching the e-liquid and wattage to the installed pod helps maintain consistent performance and reduces the risk of premature coil wear.

Yes. The Caliburn G5 Pro can be used with nicotine salt e-liquids when paired with an appropriate pod resistance. For higher-strength nicotine salts and a tighter MTL inhale, the separately available 0.9Ω or 1.2Ω pods are generally preferable to the lower-resistance pods supplied with the kit.
