Vaporesso Armour Octa Kit

The Vaporesso Armour Octa Kit is a rugged dual-18650 sub-ohm vape kit that delivers up to 220W of power, powered by Vaporesso’s AXON 3.0 chipset and the iTank T Dual Mesh Tank. Designed for experienced DTL vapers, it combines replaceable battery power, adjustable performance, and enhanced protection against water, dust, and everyday impacts. The kit includes 0.2Ω and 0.4Ω GTi Dual Mesh coils and supports the wider Vaporesso GTi coil platform, making replacement coils easy to source. Two suitable 18650 vape batteries are required and sold separately.

AXON 3.0 Power Up To 220W

At the heart of the Armour Octa is Vaporesso’s AXON 3.0 chipset, delivering adjustable output from 5W up to 220W.

Its upgraded Boost mode is designed to provide stable continuous power delivery, helping maintain consistent performance when using higher-powered sub-ohm coils.

A clear 0.96-inch TFT display keeps key vaping information visible, while the dedicated swipe-to-lock system allows the controls to be secured when carrying the device.

Built For Water, Dust And Impact Protection

Vaporesso has designed the Armour Octa to withstand more demanding everyday use.

The device features IPX8 water resistance, IPX9K high-pressure waterjet resistance and IP6X dust resistance, alongside MIL-STD-810H impact testing.

Additional protective elements include a scratch-resistant finish, TPU protection, anti-collision cushioning and a silicone cover over the USB-C charging port.

These protection ratings and laboratory tests apply specifically to the Armour Octa device, rather than the complete kit with the tank attached.

Dual 18650 Battery Power With Battery Guard

The Vaporesso Armour Octa uses two external 18650 batteries, which are not included.

Battery Guard monitors the voltage difference between the two installed cells. If the difference exceeds 0.9V, the device cuts power output to help protect against significant battery imbalance.

For a dual-battery vape mod, we recommend using a matched pair of suitable high-drain 18650 cells that are purchased, charged and used together.

A dedicated vape battery charger is also worth considering for regular charging of removable cells.

USB-C charging through the device supports DC 5V/2.5A, with additional protection designed to stop charging if excessive temperature is detected.

Vaporesso iTank T Dual Mesh Tank

The Armour Octa Kit comes paired with the Vaporesso iTank T Dual Mesh Tank, designed for direct-to-lung sub-ohm vaping.

Its top-fill system provides convenient access when adding e-liquid, while widened adjustable top airflow lets you control the amount of air entering the tank to tailor your DTL draw.

A TPU tank protector provides additional protection around the tank while still allowing the remaining e-liquid to be seen.

GTi Dual Mesh Coil Performance

Two Vaporesso GTi Dual Mesh coils are supplied:

The 0.2Ω GTi Dual Mesh coil provides the warmer and higher-powered option, while the 0.4Ω Dual Mesh coil operates at a lower wattage for a slightly cooler DTL vape with reduced power consumption.

The iTank T also supports the wider GTi coil platform, giving you additional resistance and wattage choices when replacing your coils.

For the supplied sub-ohm coils, we recommend pairing the kit with a High VG e-liquid, typically around 70VG or higher.

Overtime 2.0 Protection

The Armour Octa includes Vaporesso’s Overtime 2.0 protection system to help guard against accidental extended firing.

If a single activation exceeds approximately ten seconds, power output is stopped. If two overtime activations are detected within two minutes, the device powers itself off.

This works alongside Battery Guard and charging temperature protection to provide additional safeguards for a powerful removable-battery vape kit.

Designed For Everyday DTL Vaping

The Armour Octa measures 146.3 × 30.8 × 55mm and uses a soft anti-slip surface designed to provide a secure grip.

Protective detailing continues around the tank, charging port and exposed areas of the body while keeping the display and main controls easily accessible.

The dual-18650 configuration also gives experienced vapers the flexibility to replace the batteries when required rather than relying on a permanently built-in cell.
