High VG E-Liquid
If you are looking for a vape that offers the perfect combination of delectable flavour and remarkable vapour production, there really is no type of e-juice better than high VG e liquid.
Best known for creating dense clouds whilst offering the smoothest of inhales, VG e-juices contain larger proportions of vegetable glycerine (VG), which makes it all possible. Sometimes referred to by vapers as sub-ohm liquids, high VG e-juices work best in a vape with coils with lower resistances, especially those below 1.0 ohm. For this reason, high VG juices are best used with sub-ohm kits, including many pen kits, pod kits and starter kits, as well as sub-ohm tanks.
Amongst our selection, you will find best-selling vape liquids that are known the world over, along with brand-new juices from lesser known brands, but that are no less delicious. You can find e-liquids from all of your favourite brands here, including Dinner Lady, Double Drip Coil Sauce, Zeus Juice, Nasty Juice, IVG and more!
As is the case with all types of vape juice, High VG eliquid can contain nicotine, but as they are often shortfill e-liquids, their main focus lies in providing delightful flavour and the production of large clouds. They often contain 0mg nicotine—or in other words, they are entirely nicotine-free—but of course, nicotine shots can be added to top up their nicotine strength.
Cloud chasing just got a whole lot easier! Choose from our extensive high VG e liquid range here at Legion of Vapers.
What are high VG e liquids?
So when we call an e-liquid high VG, what does that actually mean? As many vapers will know, VG stands for vegetable glycerin, and if an e-juice is considered high VG, vapers can expect high proportions of vegetable glycerin in the juice. Having more VG present than PG (propylene glycol – another key element of vape juice) will alter the vaping experience offered. But how?
PG is both better at carrying flavour than VG, so PG-based e-liquid such as high PG e-liquids or 50:50 e-liquids provide a stronger throat hit. However, VG is easier on the throat – what it compromises on throat hit, it more than makes up for in taste delivery and cloud production. Simply put, the higher the VG ratio, the lesser the throat hit, the stronger the flavour, and the bigger the clouds you can blow!
The mixes between VG and PG in a vape juice are displayed by using percentages – such as 80VG/20PG. Generally speaking, if an e-liquid has a VG content of over 60%, it can be considered a high-VG vape juice.
Which vape kits are best for high VG e liquids?
High VG e-liquids work with a wide variety of vape kit types, but the most important thing is the coil that the juice is fed to. As would recommend using a high VG e-liquid with a sub-ohm coil, we would also recommend using an e-juice of this type with a device that is capable of supporting a sub-ohm, direct-to-lung (DTL) vaping style.
As these juices are also mixed to withstand higher power outputs, we would recommend using them with devices that are capable of outputting higher wattages, such as regulated box mods, mech mods, squonk mods and more. By working with a higher power output and offering a reduced throat hit, high VG e-liquids are able to produce the extensive clouds that are longed after by so many vapers, without compromising on either flavour or performance.
