What is a Regulated Box Mod?

A regulated box mod is a specific type of vape mod that, whilst providing extensive power and heightened customisability to your vape device or starter kit, has protective measures put in place to ensure that you vape safely and that your kit’s batteries do not get damaged. These features are extensive – they include things like cut-off protection, a measure that stops your coil from heating after a number of seconds even if you continue pressing the fire button of your e-cigarette, to overheat protection, a measure that will cut off your vape device’ battery life when its chip’s temperature rises above a certain point.

These types of mods are not just known for their safety features, they boast a battery life much longer than that of standard vape kits, and their clear screens display all of the information related to your device, including wattage, voltage, ohms of your coil, and more.

Regulated box mods are named as such as the majority are cube or cuboid-shaped, but as pen-style box mods clearly display, they can come in all different shapes and sizes.

Most regulated box mods that you will find on the market come with a 510 connector – the joint that connects your mod to your vape tank. This allows you to customise your vaping experience even further, as you are not limited to one brand, you can use a mod and tank from two completely different brands.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced vape user, you can reap the benefits of a regulated box mod.
