Start with the wattage range printed on the coil itself – most coils have a recommended range stamped on the side or packaging. Begin at the lower end and work up until the flavour hits the sweet spot. For MTL vaping you’re typically in the 10-25W range. Almost certainly yes. The vast majority of vape tanks use a 510 connection, and all regulated box mods in our range feature a 510 connector as standard. If you’ve been using a pod kit with proprietary pods, those won’t transfer – but any standard tank with a 510 thread will fit. Check the tank’s thread type if you’re unsure.

A single battery mod is more compact and suits vapers running up to around 80-100W. Dual battery mods offer more total capacity, which means longer use between charges and the ability to sustain higher wattages more reliably over time. For most vapers, yes. A regulated mod paired with a quality sub-ohm tank and a high-VG e-liquid will typically outperform a pod kit on both flavour intensity and vapour production. The larger coil surface area in a sub-ohm tank, combined with adjustable airflow and wattage control, gives you more to work with. That said, a premium pod mod running low-resistance mesh pods can come close for some e-liquid types, particularly nic salts. If flavour is your priority and you don’t mind a bigger device, a regulated mod wins.

It depends on your setup. For DTL sub-ohm vaping, high-VG e-liquids and shortfills at 70VG/30PG or higher work best – they produce better clouds and are kinder to low-resistance coils.
