Mechanical Vape Mods

If you are looking for a high-end, advanced vaping experience, look no further than our range of mechanical mods. Designed specifically for experienced vapers, mech mods are not for the faint hearted, but offer unrivalled levels of customisability and flexibility.

Whilst in certain respects, the advancement of the technology offered by standard box mods has led to mech mods becoming superseded, the appeal of mechanical mods lies in their lack of regulation – to vapers looking to vape without limits, mech mods are certainly the way to go.

The mods that you will find as part of this selection include options from some of vaping’s biggest names, such as TimesvapeHellvape and Vapefly. Explore standout performers such as Timesvape’s single battery-powered Heavy Hitter mech mod (currently available in copper), which incorporates an internal Delrin battery protection, floating battery adjustment and hybrid 510 connection, or the Dreamer V1.5 mech mod, with its constant contact switch which stops the arching of batteries, its improved pressure release, insulated top section and reversible tube.

Experiencing a vape that is no less than perfect for you just got a whole lot easier with mechanicals. If you enjoy sub-ohm vaping, are well-versed in Ohm’s law, and like pushing the boundaries on what vaping can be, mech mods will be right up your street. What is a Mechanical Mod?

Mechanical mods (and semi-mechanical mods) are high-quality e-cig mods that are unique in that they are unregulated – they do not come with the built-in safety features that have become synonymous with most vape mods, most specifically regulated box mods. The power supplied by the device’s battery is not filtered, meaning that when using a mod of this type, your atomiser will be fed directly without having to bypass any restrictive measures such as short-circuit protection.

As mentioned above, considering the absence of these safety features, we would only recommend mechanicals to vape users with more experience. However, whilst mechanical mods are aimed at experienced vapers, they are relatively simple pieces of kit, in that they are only comprised of a few different parts, and there are no internal electronic elements. Not only does this make them easier to maintain, but as there are less parts to worry about, customisation of key elements such as batteries will have a more profound impact on the end result – the vape experience provided by your mod.

Due to their cylindrical shape, mechanicals are often referred to as tube mods. So that they can be connected to a wide variety of vape tanks, they commonly include 510 adaptors. They are almost always powered by a single battery source, but as mechanical mods never come with charging ports, these batteries will be external – in other words, they will need to be charged by a battery charger.
