Buying replacement parts is almost always the smarter move. Here is why vapers reach for spares rather than a brand-new device:
Replacing the right part at the right time is one of the simplest ways to get consistent performance from any vape kit.
Our range covers every component you are likely to need, whether you are maintaining a daily carry pod kit or keeping a sub-ohm build in top condition. Parts are available for MTL, RDL and direct-lung setups across a wide range of brands and device families.
From everyday coil swaps to less common panel and button replacements, we stock compatible e-cigarette replacement parts across all major device formats and brands.
Practically every vaper will need replacement parts at some point. Switchers moving from disposables to a refillable kit will go through coils or pods regularly as they find the right nicotine level and vaping style. Everyday vapers who have settled on a device they love benefit most from keeping compatible spares in rotation, since a coil that is changed on schedule consistently delivers better flavour than one left past its best. Enthusiasts running advanced mods or rebuildables will use more specialist components but rely on the same principle: the right part keeps the vape performing exactly as it should.

Most coils last between one and three weeks depending on how much you vape and what e-liquid you use. Sweet or heavily sweetened e-liquids gunk up coils faster than unflavoured or tobacco blends. The clearest signs you need a new coil are a burnt or muted taste, reduced vapour production and a darkened or crusted coil head.
No. Coils are designed to fit specific tanks or pod systems. A Vaporesso GTX coil will not fit an Aspire tank, for example. Always check your device model and the coil series it uses before ordering. If you are unsure, search your device name in our store or check the product page for the compatible coil list.
A replacement coil is the heating element inside your tank or pod. It can often be swapped out on its own. A replacement pod is the entire cartridge, including the coil inside. Some pod systems have integrated coils, which means you replace the whole pod when the coil burns out. Others have replaceable coils inside a pod shell, which is cheaper to run long-term.
The main signs are a burnt or unpleasant taste, weaker vapour than usual and visible discolouration on the coil or wicking material. Some vapers also notice more e-liquid leaking as a coil deteriorates. Our guide on why your vape tastes burnt covers this in more detail.
Yes. Most tanks use a replaceable glass section, and we stock glass panels and sleeves for many popular models. If your tank glass has cracked or shattered, a replacement glass is a straightforward fix. Check your tank brand and model when ordering to make sure you get the right fit.
For most vapers, the main ongoing cost is coils. A five-pack of replacement coils typically covers four to six weeks of regular use. Beyond that, the only other consumable cost is e-liquid. Running a refillable kit is significantly cheaper than disposables or cigarettes on a weekly basis.
The most common replacements for pod kits are coils or replacement pods, depending on whether your system uses integrated or replaceable coils. Some pod kits also benefit from a replacement pod shell if the plastic or clear section becomes discoloured or damaged. Drip tip upgrades are also popular on pod systems that use standard sizing.
Sub-ohm tanks most commonly need replacement coils (below 1.0 ohm, often mesh format) and replacement glass. If your mod has an external battery, battery replacement may also be needed over time. Drip tips and O-rings are less urgent but useful to keep as spares.
Prime the coil before use. That means adding a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the coil’s wicking ports, filling your tank and leaving it to sit for five to ten minutes before firing. Starting at a lower wattage for the first few puffs also helps the wick saturate evenly. Our guide on how to prime a vape coil walks through the full process.
Legion of Vapers stocks genuine parts from leading brands including Aspire, Vaporesso, Uwell, SMOK, Dovpo, Vandy Vape and Lost Vape. We are an IBVTA member and a 2024 Prestige Award winner. All products are sourced from authorised distributors, so you are not buying unbranded or counterfeit components.
MTL vapers need coils with a higher resistance, with modern coil ranges typically sitting around 0.6, 0.7 and 0.8 ohms. These produce less vapour and deliver a tighter, more cigarette-like draw. Many pod kit coils fall into this range. Check our MTL coils section for compatible options.
Sub-ohm vapers need coils rated below 1.0 ohm, with many mesh options sitting around 0.2 to 0.4 ohms for maximum vapour and flavour. Replacement glass is also worth having to hand, since larger tanks are more exposed to knocks. Browse our sub-ohm coils range and use the beginners guide to vape coils if you want more detail on choosing the right resistance.
