The Vaporesso Armour Ultra Vape Kit is a rugged 100W sub-ohm kit built around a large 5500mAh internal battery and the Vaporesso iTank T Dual Mesh Tank. Designed primarily for direct-to-lung vaping, it combines adjustable 5–100W power, Vaporesso’s AXON Chip, a 0.96-inch TFT display and IP68/IP69K-rated protection in a compact built-in-battery format. Two GTi Dual Mesh coils are supplied for high-VG e-liquids, while full GTi coil compatibility gives you several power and resistance options when replacements are needed.

5500mAh Built-In Battery and 100W Output

The Armour Ultra uses a 5500mAh built-in battery, removing the need to purchase or carry separate external vape batteries.

Output can be adjusted from 5–100W, giving the kit enough power for the supplied GTi Dual Mesh coils while allowing you to fine-tune wattage to your preferred warmth and vapour production.

USB-C charging supports DC 9V/2A or 5V/3A when used with a suitable compatible power source.

AXON Chip with Boost, Pulse, Eco and TC Modes

Vaporesso’s AXON Chip provides several selectable operating modes:

• Boost Mode – prioritises stronger initial output and vapour production
• Pulse Mode – regulates power through the inhale for consistent delivery
• Eco Mode – designed to reduce power consumption
• TC Mode – provides temperature-control functionality for compatible coil materials

Settings, battery level, resistance and vaping information are displayed on the integrated 0.96-inch TFT screen.

iTank T and GTi Dual Mesh Coils

The Armour Ultra Kit is paired with the Vaporesso iTank T Dual Mesh Tank, featuring a sliding top-fill mechanism and adjustable top airflow.

The UK version uses a 2ml TPD-compliant tank, with airflow entering from above the tank to help reduce the likelihood of e-liquid escaping through the airflow system.

Two GTi Dual Mesh coils are included:

The 0.2Ω Dual Mesh coil provides the warmer, higher-powered option, while the 0.4Ω Dual Mesh operates at a lower wattage for a slightly cooler DTL vape with reduced power consumption.

The iTank T also supports the wider Vaporesso GTi platform, allowing you to choose from additional compatible GTi resistances when replacing your coil.

For the supplied sub-ohm coils, we recommend using a High VG e-liquid, typically around 70VG or higher.

IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H Protection

The Armour Ultra is designed for users who want greater protection against the knocks, dust and moisture that vape hardware can encounter during everyday use.

Vaporesso rates the device to:

• IP68 water and dust protection
• IP69K protection against high-pressure water jets
• MIL-STD-810H testing
• 1.2 metre tested drop resistance

The device also uses a reinforced 510 connection, protected charging port and tank protector to add further protection around key areas of the kit.

These ratings make the Armour Ultra particularly suited to vapers who want a more rugged device, although normal care should still be taken with both the mod and glass tank.

Compact Built-In Battery Design

Despite its high battery capacity, the Armour Ultra measures 144.5 × 37.6 × 31mm with the supplied tank installed and weighs approximately 256g.

Unlike the Armour S and Armour Max, there are no removable cells to install or battery doors to open. This gives the Ultra a straightforward rechargeable design while still providing the higher power expected from a DTL sub-ohm kit.

Who Is the Vaporesso Armour Ultra Kit For?

The Armour Ultra is best suited to intermediate and experienced DTL vapers who want the power and battery capacity of a larger sub-ohm setup without managing removable batteries.

Its 50–75W supplied coil range, open airflow and high-VG compatibility make it better suited to direct-to-lung vaping than low-powered MTL vaping or nicotine salts.
