In addition, the Geekvape L200 Classic Mod can utilise 18650 batteries with the use of the included battery adapter sleeves. Therefore, once again providing the vaper with a choice! This box mod is versatile and uses both 18650 batteries with the adapter provided and more importantly also 21700 batteries. We would recommend pairing this device with Molicel P42A 21700 Battery Pair. Alternatively you can use the Molicel P28A 18650 Battery Pair.

What does IP68 actually mean and does it apply to the Geekvape L200 Classic Mod?

Essentially IP68 is an internationally recognised code applied to electronics to show they have some measure of protection after intensive testing. The I stands for Ingress and the P stands for Protection. Then come the 2 numbers- within this scale 6 is the highest you can achieve. This digit refers to how good the item is at being protected against solids. Please note do not throw this mod around the room! Yes, it has protection but this is for generic falls and bumps.

The second digit, in this case 8 refers to liquid/water resistance. The maximum rating you can get is 9- with the Classic Mod being an 8 this is referring to being protected against submersion in water up to a defined depth and time duration. In summary, an IP68 device can survive against dust and up to 1.5 metres of water for 30 minutes.
