The simple process involved Riot Bars being responsibly deposited into Riot recycle bins, which are collected using electric vehicles.

These depleted devices are dismantled into their 3 primary component parts (casing, battery and nicotine chamber), and used to produce the following:

1. PLA Plastic casing: Made into vinyl records and clothing, to be sold, and proceeds donated to charity.
2. Nicotine chamber cartridge: Incinerated, with the energy produced going into the national grid.
3. Lithium battery: Reused in future Riot Bar disposable devices, significantly lowering the carbon footprint of the device.
