Comparing this with the previous model it is certainly a more simpler device with better air flow. If you prefer a tighter draw then the Elf Bar Mate 500 is the one. However if you prefer something that has a bit more air and purer flavour then this has to be the pod kit for you. In addition to this the prefilled pod connection is a lot easier and connects every time without fail.

Is the Elfa Pod Kit rechargeable?

Yes, the pod kit is rechargeable via a Type C USB cable lead. Please note that this lead is not supplied but we are pretty sure there will one laying around in your household. A lead that has become so common to charge many devices. The internal battery is of a 500mAh size which in theory is enough to last a day or two at the least. Whilst testing it lasted us 3 days but once again it all depends on your vaping style. For e.g. if you prefer longer draws then the battery life will diminish quicker as compared to shorter draws.
