This charger will effectively auto-adjust the charging current based on the cells chemistry or condition. You may find that cells are also charged at 0.5A initially and then increased to 1A mid way through the charge. This is a safety feature – and helps protect excessive heat build and prolong the life of the cells. A mAh readout function allows you to inspect the current condition of fully charged cells. However, it is worth noting this function only calculates what is added to a cell, and not what is already on the cell – to get a more accurate reading, cells should be fully depleted, then fully recharged.

So far so good, really decent charger, powered by USB which is handy, charges my molicell p28 18650 batteries in good time, doesn’t overheat like a previous charger (efest lush) I bought from elsewhere, seriously that thing got so hot it was hard to even handle it so I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. This charger however stays cool, and the crystal clear digital display shows you in real time how your battery’s are doing with a digital dial for both battery’s. For the price I highly recommend it. It accommodates larger batterys too like 21700 so that’s a plus.
