This device is designed to take advantage of 21700 batteries. However, if you are like the many who have a collection of 18650 batteries these can also be used with the two 18650 battery adapters that are supplied. As always we recommend the Molicel P42A if you are looking to buy 21700 batteries or the Molicel P28A if you would prefer the 18650 option.

What size tank can I use with the Dovpo x Vaperz Cloud Odin V2 Box Mod without an overhang?

Although the Odin V2 is slimmer then its younger brother the mod can take attys up to 30mm in diameter. So whether you prefer RDA’s, RTA’s or sub ohm tanks it can easily accommodate up to 30mm making this a home device for pretty much most attys out there!

Can I charge my batteries in the Dovpo x Vaperz Cloud Odin V2 Box Mod?

No, is the simple answer. External battery mods should never be used as chargers for batteries. There are mixed messages in the industry with some manufacturers claiming this is possible and others stating this is a death sentence for any device. From personal experiences and testing evidence we recommend not to use external battery mods as chargers.

So why we hear you ask when there is a USB port on the device? The USB ports are to support software updates and not charging your batteries. When you charge your batteries via this method you are pushing unregulated power through the mod into your batteries. This ends up damaging the chips on the device and eventually frying the motherboard.

Hence, we do not support charging through mods as this also invalidates any warranty on the device. Please invest in an external charger to ensure your batteries last longer and are safely charged in addition to ensuring that you keep enjoying your newly purchased mod.
