What are Starter Kits?

As the name suggests, vape starter kits are for new vapers. To make life easier for beginners, they contain all the hardware you need straight off the bat. This includes a coil, a tank, a battery, and a mouthpiece—the four main components of any vape kit.

The coil

The vape kit’s coil is made of wicking material that absorbs e-liquid and a coil wire. The wire coil heats up using electricity from the battery to vaporise the e-liquid in the wick. What Are the Best E-liquids For Vape Starter Kits?

These include those with a higher concentration of propylene glycol (PG) to vegetable glycerine (VG) or with equal amounts of PG and VG (50/50 liquids). Known as starter or classic e-liquid, high-PG liquids offer a throat hit that will be familiar to ex-smokers while not producing as much vapour as high-VG liquids.

Another reason high-PG and 50/50 e-liquids are suitable for inhale-activated and most other starter vape kits is that they don’t need much battery power to produce vapour, and most starter kits are low-powered devices.

If you choose to start your vaping journey with a pod kit and want a similar dose of nicotine to traditional tobacco cigarettes, nic salts e-liquids might be the better choice. Nic salts contain more nicotine than freebase nicotine e-liquids, but they provide a smoother throat hit and faster nicotine absorption, thanks to their low-PH formulation.
