Coilology Pre-Built Coils
Coilology’s pre-built coils are handcrafted to tight tolerances and come ready to install in your RDA or RTA. The range includes Alien coils available from 0.21ohm up to 0.36ohm for sub-ohm DTL builds, as well as MTL pre-built options running from around 1.0ohm to 1.5ohm for low-wattage, flavour-focused setups. Both Ni80 and SS316L versions are available depending on your preference for ramp-up speed or temperature control vaping.

Coilology DIY Resistance Wire
If you wind your own coils, Coilology DIY wire is available in a broad selection of styles and gauges. Fused Clapton, Clapton, Staple, Chain Link, Juggernaut and Twisted Alien wire are all in the range. Spools come in both Ni80 and SS316L, and every reel goes through an ultrasonic cleaning process post-production, so there is no break-in period to worry about.

Coilology Cotton
Good cotton is as important as good wire. Coilology’s Shoelace Cotton is made from 100% organic cotton and comes in a container with 20 pre-cut strips, sized to wick efficiently without over-packing the coil. Start with the Coilology 7-in-1 Performance Coils pack. It gives you seven different coil styles in a single box so you can find out what works in your RDA or RTA without buying seven separate sets. This is the fastest way to figure out whether you prefer a Fused Clapton, a Staple or a simpler round wire build before spending money on a full spool of DIY wire.
Running a mouth-to-lung RTA or a tight-draw RDA means looking at the MTL-specific pre-built coils and MTL wire options. Resistance in the 1.0ohm to 1.5ohm range is typical for MTL builds, and both MTL Fused Clapton and MTL Staple wire are available in Ni80 and SS316L. The standard pre-built Alien coils and the sub-ohm DIY wire range are where Coilology earns its reputation for DTL builds. Alien coils in the 0.21ohm to 0.36ohm range perform well between 50W and 80W, with Ni80 being the more common material choice for DTL due to its fast ramp-up. If you already know your preferred gauge and wire style, the DIY spools are the cost-effective route. Chain Link and Juggernaut wire suit vapers who want complex coil geometry and maximum surface area. Twisted Alien sits in the middle: more surface area than a simple round wire build, but less demanding to work with than a full Juggernaut. Ni80 heats up faster and is easier to work with, making it the default choice for most DTL builders. SS316L heats slightly slower but is compatible with temperature control mode on supported mods, which gives you a more consistent vape and reduces the risk of dry hits. Both materials produce good flavour.
