What Are Shortfills?

Shortfills are e-liquids that come in larger bottles, mostly 50ml and 100ml, which are filled slightly short of their bottle capacity. Freebase Nicotine vs Nicotine Salts

Choose freebase nicotine if you prefer a harder throat hit, slower absorption and a harsher nicotine hit. Nicotine salts are more acidic, absorb faster and provide a smoother inhale. Freebase nicotine better simulates the feeling of smoking a cigarette, while nicotine salts make for a smoother high-nicotine experience.

High VG vs. High PG Shortfills

VG stands for vegetable glycerin. It creates bigger clouds than PG (propylene glycol) because it’s a thicker liquid. Since it provides a smoother throat hit than PG, it’s suitable for sub-ohm vapers.

High VG liquids are better for sub-ohm coils because they require more heat to vaporise and need high-powered devices, making sub-ohm devices a great choice for vapers who prefer stronger flavours and vapour production to stronger nicotine hits. VG liquid shortfills are better for DTL vaping as they produce bigger clouds and require lower nicotine strength.

In contrast, high PG liquids are better for vapers who prefer more nicotine. They’re better suited for cigarette smokers who want to start vaping. Most vapers who use shortfill e-liquids opt for 70 VG and 30 PG for big clouds with the right strength of nicotine. Ultimately, it comes down to your desired cloud production and nicotine strength preferences.
